President and Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discuss situation in Ukraine

On Tuesday 18 November, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed the current situation in Ukraine and efforts to bring an end to Russia’s illegal war of aggression. It is essential to increase pressure on Russia and provide strong, continuous support to Ukraine. This work will continue in close cooperation with our allies.

The President and the Ministerial Committee also discussed the resolution adopted by the United Nations Security Council endorsing a peace plan for Gaza. Finland supports efforts to reach a two-state solution and achieve a lasting peace in the region.
