European Personnel Selection Office Director Bearfield to visit Helsinki
David Bearfield, Director of the European Personnel Selection Office, will visit Helsinki on 14–16 September. In addition to expert discussions, Director Bearfield will speak at EU Careers Events at Aalto University and Hanken, the Helsinki School of Economics.

The European Union employs over 40,000 people, including just over 1,000 Finns. The EU operates in various policy sectors, and it employs drivers, security experts, interpreters, legal academics, financial and audit experts, and environmental, agricultural and trade experts. At the expert level, positions are available in fields ranging from communications to legislative work and policy preparation.
The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) is responsible for all EU job recruitment. The recruitment process tests various areas of expertise, such as communication skills and problem-solving ability.
