State Secretary Torsti to an informal meeting of EU Transport Ministers

The German Presidency of the Council of the European Union will hold an informal video meeting of transport ministers on 29 October 2020. State Secretary Pilvi Torsti will represent Finland at the meeting.

The transport ministers will discuss the use of the digitalisation and automation potential in order to ensure sustainable, safe and efficient mobility in the future. The ministers are to issue the so-called Passau Declaration that aims to accelerate the digitalisation of mobility in Europe.

It will be an informal meeting where no formal decisions are taken.
