Police Suspect Homicide in Konala

Police received a report of a violent incident at 4:48 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, on Kolsarintie in Konala. Several police units responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, officers found a man in the apartment who later died from his injuries. Another man, also injured, was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Following a brief pursuit, several individuals were apprehended. At this stage of the preliminary investigation, they are suspected of being involved in the incident.

"The police are investigating the case as a homicide and attempted homicide involving a firearm. Further information regarding the case will be released as soon as it is deemed appropriate", says Detective Chief Inspector Tuomas Lindholm, who is leading the inquiry.
