Delays in delivery of residence permit cards

There are currently delays of 3–4 weeks in the delivery of residence permit cards and residence cards. The delays concern residence permits and cards applied for in Finland.

The card manufacturer has backlogs in the process of sending the cards. It is not yet known when the situation will improve.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The delays do not concern residence permit cards that are delivered abroad through Finnish missions (embassies and consulates).
