Cinia Group will be under direct state ownership

Cinia Group Oy, a Finnish company specialising in information and communications technology, will be transferred from Governia Oy to direct state ownership and under the ownership steering of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The Government adopted the decision on 31 August 2017. The transfer will come into force on 1 September 2017.

The change in the ownership is based on a decision reached in June by the Ministerial Committee on Economic Policy. Cinia is owned by the state, employment pension company Ilmarinen and OP Financial Group.
