Portugal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs João Gomes Cravinho will visit Finland on 13 May and have a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto.
The Foreign Ministers will discuss Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the European security order and bilateral matters between Finland and Portugal.
“Portugal is an important EU partner for us and a key NATO country. It is important for us to hear and exchange views on the changing security situation in Europe with the Portuguese Foreign Minister. We have a lot in common in multilateral cooperation and we both want to promote the green and digital transitions,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Haavisto.
