The Government was updated on the information leak concerning the Finnish Intelligence Research Establishment

On Tuesday 19 December, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Defence Forces updated the Government on the leak of information concerning the Finnish Intelligence Research Establishment (FIRE). An official investigation on the matter is under way.

The President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy have also discussed the leak concerning FIRE.
