President and Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discuss current situation in Ukraine

In their meeting on Friday 27 February, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed the current situation in Ukraine and efforts to end Russia’s unlawful war of aggression as it enters its fifth year. They also discussed ways to increase pressure on Russia and the need to ensure strong European support for Ukraine.

In addition, the President and the Ministerial Committee discussed preparations for the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara on 7 and 8 July 2026.
