President and Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discuss Finland’s support for Ukraine and Finland’s objectives for 79th session of UN General Assembly

In their meeting on Friday 13 September, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed Finland’s extensive support for Ukraine. Finland is firmly committed to supporting Ukraine’s defence and security. Finland is supporting Ukraine as part of the EU and NATO as well as bilaterally through, for example, development cooperation, civilian crisis management and humanitarian assistance.

The President and the Ministerial Committee also discussed Finland’s objectives for the 79th session of the UN General Assembly and its high-level week.
