Minister Kyllönen expresses condolences following the traffic accident in Russia

Ms Merja Kyllönen, Finnish Minister of Transport, has sent her profound condolences to the Russian Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov following the accident on the maintenance road in the Saimaa Canal area, Russian Karelia, on Saturday 15 February 2014.
Minister Kyllönen conveyed her sympathy to those injured and to the families and friends of those who died in the accident.
She said that an investigation was launched in Finland immediately after the accident on Saturday. The Finnish authorities have offered help to the Russian authorities in finding out the cause of the accident.
