Foreign Minister Tuomioja to the Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg

The EU Foreign Affairs Council will convene in Luxembourg on 20 April. Finland's representative at the meeting will be Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja.

The topics on the Foreign Affairs Council agenda are Latin America, Libya and the review of the European Security Strategy. In addition, the meeting will discuss Iran's nuclear programme and the situation in Yemen. Foreign Minister Tuomioja will also participate in the meeting of the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries at foreign ministerial level, convening on the same day.
