The participation of Minister Valtonen in the Nordic–African Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Zimbabwe has been cancelled
The participation of Minister Elina Valtonen in the Nordic–African Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Zimbabwe on 2–3 October 2025 has been cancelled.
Anna-Kaisa Heikkinen, Director General og the Department for Africa, the Middle East and Latin America, will represent Finland at the meeting.
The three broad themes on the meeting agenda are multilateral cooperation, peace and security, and trade and investments. The previous NAFM meeting was held in Copenhagen in 2024 and the one before that in Alger in 2023.
