The Prime Minister of Italy, Mario Monti, will visit Finland on 1-2 August on the invitation of Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen. On 1 August, the premiers will meet in the Prime Minister's official residence, Kesäranta, to discuss the economic situation in the EU and the countries' bilateral relations.
During his visit, Prime Minister Monti will also meet President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö, Speaker of Parliament Eero Heinäluoma and chairmen of the key parliamentary committees.
